**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the lead video editor in editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos for digital marketing campaigns, including promotional videos, social media reels, tutorials, and advertisements.
- Perform basic editing tasks such as trimming, cutting, color correction, audio syncing, and adding transitions, text overlays, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure videos align with brand guidelines, campaign goals, and target audience preferences.
- Organize and maintain video assets, ensuring proper file management and archiving for future use.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine video content and meet project deadlines.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, video editing techniques, and platform-specific requirements (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Assist in creating short-form content optimized for social media platforms, ensuring high engagement and shareability.
- Support the creation of storyboards, shot lists, or basic animations as needed.
- Ensure all video content is optimized for accessibility, including adding captions or subtitles when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-1 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation tools like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of audio editing tools (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms’ video requirements (e.g., aspect ratios, durations).
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret and implement feedback effectively.
- Portfolio or reel showcasing previous video editing work, ideally for digital marketing purposes.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) for creating video thumbnails or supporting visuals.
- Knowledge of SEO and video analytics to optimize content for discoverability and engagement.
- Familiarity with emerging trends in short-form video content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels).
- Basic understanding of video shooting techniques and equipment is a plus.
