Job Summary:
The Liquid Waste Operator is responsible for handling, treating, and disposing of liquid waste generated during the paint manufacturing process. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations, maintains waste treatment systems, and supports a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Liquid Waste Handling & Treatment:

- Collect and manage liquid waste, including solvents, sludge, and wastewater from production processes.
- Operate and maintain waste treatment equipment such as evaporators, separators, and filtration systems.
- Ensure proper chemical treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

- Follow environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA, local pollution control board guidelines) for waste disposal.
- Maintain records of waste disposal, treatment processes, and hazardous materials.
- Assist in environmental audits and reporting.

3. Equipment Maintenance & Safety:

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of liquid waste treatment systems.
- Identify leaks, spills, or malfunctions and take corrective actions.
- Use appropriate PPE and ensure safety procedures are followed.

4. Process Optimization & Waste Reduction:

- Work with production teams to minimize waste generation.
- Suggest improvements for waste recycling and reuse within the plant.
- Participate in sustainability initiatives.

5. Emergency Response & Spill Management:

- Respond to spills or leaks promptly, ensuring proper containment and cleanup.
- Assist in emergency drills and hazardous waste handling training.

Qualifications & Skills:

- High school diploma or technical certification in environmental science, chemical handling, or a related field.
- Experience in waste management or handling hazardous materials (preferably in the paint or chemical industry).
- Knowledge of waste treatment systems and environmental regulations.
- Ability to operate pumps, separators, and filtration equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and compliance.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Work Environment:

- Exposure to chemicals, fumes, and industrial machinery.
- Requires wearing PPE such as gloves, masks, and protective clothing.
- Physically demanding role involving lifting, standing, and working in confined spaces.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
