Co-Ordinate and manage all operations Shift activities
- In-Charge of operations shift.
- Attain and maintain shift productivity and CFS time norms.
- Optimal utilization of equipment and resources.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed in all operations.
- Co-ordinate with contractors and customers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Motivate and guide shift employees for attaining set objectives.
- Co-ordinate with terminal duty superintendent for transportation of containers.
- Use SWA when see any unsafe act, encourage downline staff to follow the same to build DPW standard safety culture. Discuss about take time take charge in TBTs.
- Monitoring staff (including contract staff) working hours, daily TBTs with them, Clarify & supervise their work (SOP)
- To comply with all the standards related to Health, Safety and Environment system as per DP World standards
- Work as a team for attainment of common objectives.
- Ensure self-quality control of activities performed.
- Maintain inter department harmony to achieve desired result
- Build relationship with heads of external agencies to achieve results
- Satisfy customers in general and trade at large
- Devising ways to minimise cost and improve quality
- Supervise and manage the supervisory group into efficient and effective goal target setting for all planning and operation staff
- Ensure safe and correct working practices
- Liase with the inter department for proper service from supporting departments
- Implementation of SOP at ground level
- Daily planning and analysis of operational activities i.e rake handling, internal material shifting, Inward-Outward movement
- Operational Training/Safety Training development
