We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to oversee and maintain the machinery and equipment used in our soya manufacturing processes. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the production line operates efficiently, with mínimal downtime, by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all safety standards are met.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Preventive and Corrective Maintenance**:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize breakdowns and enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to restore equipment to optimal performance.
- Schedule and execute planned maintenance activities to ensure mínimal impact on production timelines.
- **Equipment Optimization**:
- Monitor machinery performance and suggest improvements for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Work closely with production teams to optimize the use of manufacturing equipment and identify areas for improvement.
- **Technical Support and Repairs**:
- Provide on-the-spot technical support during unplanned breakdowns.
- Lead and assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Carry out emergency repairs and oversee the timely resolution of breakdowns.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Prepare reports on maintenance progress, breakdown analysis, and any equipment modifications or upgrades.
- Update machinery manuals and system documentation for future reference.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, ensuring that all maintenance work is conducted in compliance with company policies and health and safety legislation.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment, machines, and work environments to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure that proper lockout/tagout procedures are followed during maintenance activities.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with production teams, engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any technical issues promptly.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff and operators on machinery handling and troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss maintenance schedules, upgrades, and improvements.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure that critical spares are readily available for quick repairs.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for purchasing and procuring required maintenance materials and equipment.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve machine efficiency, and optimize energy consumption.
- Suggest and implement cost-effective solutions for maintenance and production processes.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
