The role of the Case Worker is to provide holistic and comprehensive case management services to participants, develop programs and resources and formulate case plans that promote moving towards self
- sufficiency.

**Rehabilitation**
- To complete an initial needs assessment and act upon critical needs appropriately and immediately with remote and shelter participants. To orient participants and follow up interventions with livelihood, health care, legal and civil assistance, education and vocational training as per the Case management SOP. *

**Restoration**
- Gather relevant information on the participants and trace back their families. Prepare the participants and their families for restoration.
- Escort the participants back home when necessary.
- Follow up with necessary support to alumni women and provide necessary services in case of emergency.

**Education and livelihood**
- Create a personal plan for development on a case-by-case basis including education. (formal/informal) or occupational training. *
- Work closely with existing service providers, including schools, training facilities and employers to engage girls in education, training and employment*

**Casework**
- Follow up with the participants based on their needs bi-weekly or as needed. Assist the participants in goal setting. *
- Create long-term development case plans as well as weekly development case plans. *
- Plan group sessions and pair discussions. *
- Coordinate with Shelter Coordinator when there are issues. *
- Work on cases involving domestic violence and women’s sexuality. *

**Reporting and Documentation**
- Fill out intake sheets for the participants and other case related documents online and offline *
- Maintain an inventory of the girls’ belongings and documents when necessary. Document and update girls’ medical information, mental health and family restoration plans. *
- Attend case management meetings to present cases and give suggestions for other cases. *
- Monitor needs fulfillment and needs development. *
- Write a monthly report of activities to the Case Management Manager Documentation of care narrations, yearly planning and reporting of visit and meetings. *

**5 Advocacy and networking**
- To inform, guide and educate participants towards their advancement and growth wherever possible.
- Initiate steps to ensure the responsiveness and relevance of policies, procedures, programs or practices on local and external level.
- To engage in research and documenting data pertaining to participants and wider issues.
- To build network with external stakeholders from governmental and non-governmental organisations.
- To attend meetings, workshops and transfer the learning with peers.

**ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA**:
Any woman having a Bachelor in Law/ Social Work/Sociology/Social science/ Psychology with at least 3 years‟ experience of working on women related relevant domains in a Government or Non-Government project/programme. She should be a resident of the local community so that local human resource and expertise is utilised for effective functioning of the centre.
