**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and documentation for mechanical components and systems.
- Utilize Solidworks and other relevant software tools to produce accurate 3D and 2D drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications in all drafted documents.
- Revise and update drawings as required based on design changes or feedback.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design and drafting activities.
- Maintain drawing databases and ensure proper version control and documentation.

**Must-Have Skills and Qualifications**:

- Diploma or ITI Certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
- Proficiency in Solidworks or other relevant CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, and conventions.
- Experience in creating accurate 3D and 2D drawings.
- Familiarity with mechanical design principles and best practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce precise drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

**Good to Have Skills and Qualifications**:

- Exposure to new product development (NPD) processes.
- Experience in prototype build and testing activities.
- Understanding of verification techniques and processes.
- Familiarity with material selection for mechanical components.
- Additional knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹100,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
