**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach and develop course material for the Forensic Science program with a focus on toxicology.
- Stay updated on advancements in toxicology and forensic science, ensuring the curriculum reflects current industry and scientific trends.
- Guide students in research projects, case studies, and internships related to forensic toxicology.
- Participate in faculty meetings, contribute to curriculum enhancement, and collaborate with colleagues on program development.
- Engage in academic research and publish findings in relevant forensic science or toxicology journals.
- Provide academic mentorship and professional guidance to students in the forensic science program.
- Assist in the evaluation of students' academic performance through assessments, assignments, and practical work.
- Support institutional efforts in maintaining accreditation, quality assurance, and industry linkages.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Forensic Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience within a recognized educational institution, particularly in the field of toxicology or forensic science.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and teach forensic toxicology courses.
- Research experience and a track record of publications in toxicology or forensic science.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Ability to mentor students and guide them through research, case studies, and internships.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in conducting toxicological analysis or forensic investigations is an added advantage.
- Experience with forensic lab equipment and relevant scientific technologies.
- Active involvement in forensic science associations or networks is a plus.
