Your Team

The Legal Team at Invesco is spread across Hyderabad, United States, EMEA, APAC and Canada region. The team aids with all legal matters including drafting, summarizing, and negotiating legal documents, agreements, supplements to the offering documents of various regulated investment products, file class actions/bankruptcy recovery claims and support the firm’s corporate governance processes.

Your Role
- Fulfil requirements and meet goals and benchmarks set out at the start of the Business Leadership Program.
- Partner with Americas, EMEA and APAC Legal Teams on joint Paralegal projects and responsibilities.
- Assist in responding to Legal Subpoenas, IRS Summons, DOJ, Grand Jury Subpoenas, restraining notices, LOI and garnishment notices.
- Assist with drafting, analyzing, reviewing, and uploading, as applicable, various agreements and amendments & Schedules, including confidentiality/non-disclosure, and other agreements to online document repositories, Share Point, creation of spread sheets. Ensure documents are tagged in order of their families and signatures obtained through digital tools.
- Assist Legal Analysts on annual updates to the fund disclosure documents, File Post effective Amendments to the Registration Statements for the Retail and ETF funds.
- File Monthly and Quarterly updates and Interval Fund Tender Offer forms and update the Quarterly Tender Offer Board Memo and Resolutions as per the Board Calender.
- Assist in the process of gathering and disclosing portfolio manager fund holdings and assets. Prepare and update, as needed, disclosure documents for the firm’s Institutional Private Funds
- Build out board books, agendas, pre and post board materials for the fund boards in online repositories in line with the Fund Board Meetings lined up.
- Expand professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Monitor, track and update Legal item calendars daily in lieu of legal work allocation meetings. Prepare status reports and keep partners informed of project progress.
- Assist in Legal preparatory work and research projects as per need.

- Legal research, investigation, critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze complex information
- Good analytical skills and superb attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with a network of colleagues spread across different time zones
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritize workload and assignments and perform well under the pressure of multiple deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable attitude, open to flexible working hours
- Knowledge of financial products and / or programming language(s) would be an added advantage

Academic requirements
- BA LLB (2024 Batch)
- No current backlogs
- 60% or equivalent CGPA/CQPI throughout 10th, 12th or Diploma, UG course
