**Responsibilities**
- Work on service resiliency, performance tuning and design.
- Drive resolution of critical incidents and work on making sure fixes are methodically implemented through postmortems.
- Work on toil reduction by designing and implementing automation.
- Work with other SRE engineers, developers and architects to evaluate and implement best practices for current and future workloads.
- Plan and develop infrastructure capacity in the cloud.
- Monitor system health and capacity and take proactive action to fix problems before they occur.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build, deploy, and support features.
- Participate in the on-call support rotation within the SRE teams

***Qualifications**
- You have at least 3 years of experience supporting containerized production services, running Kubernetes preferably.
- You have at least 2 of years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration tools (we use Terraform and Ansible).
- You have strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages (We use Bash and Python).
- You have at least 1 years of cloud experience (Google Cloud Platform preferred, will consider AWS and Azure).
- You have excellent knowledge of one operating system (Windows or RedHat Enterprise Linux).
- You have an understanding on how DevOps practices (CI/CD) and SRE practices (SLOs, SLIs) can be applied to your day-to-day work.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science degree or similar, or equivalent experience.
- You have advanced level English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Considered a plus:

- Previous Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Previous experience working in ecommerce environments.
- Google Cloud Platform Professional certifications.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) credentials.
