At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination. **Associate Quality Designer** **About Us**: Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an important part of our development process, consistently delivering actionable insights that support our game teams to optimize software performance and elevate gameplay. **Who do we work with?** You will work closely with the FC. **About the Role**: The Associate Quality Designer position will require you to provide oversight of our quality processes and establish best practices for our analyst family together with our leadership team. You will oversee the entire quality plan for FC LIVE Hyderabad team in collaboration with our partners, and will report to the Development Manager, and partner with the Producer and/or Designer to agree on the quality and feedback for new features. **Your Responsibilities** **Quality Strategy and Test Planning** - Leverage testing skills and methodologies to systematically test the product and share results - Help evolve the team’s tools and processes with a focus on expanding capabilities and responsibilities, along with introducing more efficient and accurate practices - Ensure that strategies, plans and other best practices laid out are followed by the team. - Promote a "player-oriented" approach and help achieve a high-quality experience for the players **Quality and Data Analysis** - Report high impact or complex bugs and provide actionable feedback to improve the quality of the game for players - Compile data from multiple sources into summaries - Evaluate and adopt the latest and best practices from other teams, departments or the industry **Collaboration and Communication** - Build partnerships/Collaborate with development, production, and design teams and other partners - Provide progress and status updates through reporting and verbal communication, where needed - Work with multiple teams to drive features through project milestones **Mentorship and Team Support** - Mentor and support team members with QA deliverables and implementation of quality strategies - Drive improvements and knowledge sharing across teams ** Our Requirements** **Experience and Knowledge** - 5+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game design - Understanding of quality assurance processes, workflows, and defect and task tracking software - Familiarity with bug prevention and containment strategies - Game Domain knowledge, with inclination towards playing video games for driving end-to-end quality plan throughout the game/pack cycle **Skills and Abilities** - Ability to Create test plans, design test strategies and communicate them effectively. - Passion for creating high-quality player experiences - Excellent collaboration and communication skills *** Additional Information**: **Additional Information** - 5 days work from office - Shift timings Morning (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM) - During Launch, may need to follow schedule as 1 day weekend working and off on 1 weekday. - ** Path to becoming a Quality Designer**: - Learn More about the Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team at EA. - From Government to Game Development, Jessica Makes a Move.
