Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach accountancy in alignment with the ISC syllabus for classes 11 and 12.
- Plan lessons and lectures that are engaging, effective, and comprehensive.
- Use diverse teaching techniques to simplify complex accounting concepts for students.
- **Academic Assessment**:

- Design and evaluate assignments, tests, and examinations in line with ISC standards.
- Provide regular and constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Encourage students to participate actively and foster a collaborative learning atmosphere.
- **Student Guidance**:

- Offer personalized guidance and support to students struggling with accounting concepts.
- Assist students in preparing for ISC board exams, and provide them with strategies for success.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with ISC board guidelines, changes in syllabus, and contemporary teaching methods.
- Participate in professional development activities and school events as required.
- **Communication and Reporting**:

- Regularly communicate with students and parents regarding academic progress and areas for improvement.
- Prepare academic reports and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- **Additional Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with other teachers in the Commerce department to ensure interdisciplinary learning.
- Contribute to school events, commerce activities, or projects as per school requirements.

Qualifications:

- **Educational Background**: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accountancy, or a related field. B.Ed. (preferred).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in an ISC or similar curriculum school (experience with senior classes is preferred).
- **Skills**: Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Familiarity with educational technology tools.
