Video Editor Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in editing and assembling raw footage into a finished product that aligns with the company's vision and brand.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Edit video content for various platforms, ensuring a high level of quality, creativity, and consistency.
Incorporate feedback from team members to make necessary edits and revisions.
Stay up to date with industry trends and video editing techniques to enhance skills and contribute fresh ideas.
Organize and maintain video assets, ensuring efficient file management and version control.
Assist in other aspects of video production, such as shooting, scriptwriting, and post-production tasks as needed.

Video Editor Requirements:

- Current enrolment in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia Arts, etc.).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Basic understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound.
Strong creative and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Portfolio or examples of previous video editing work (academic or personal projects) is a plus.
Should have his/her own laptop to perform tedious editing tasks.
