ob Title: Medical Coder and BillerJob Description: **Location**: Hyderabad **Employment Type**: Full-Time /parttime **Overview**: Key Responsibilities: - **Medical Coding**: - Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses and procedures based on medical records. - Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. - Review documentation for accuracy and completeness. - **Billing Operations**: - Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies using "Office Practicum." - Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies. - Communicate with insurance companies to address claims denials or issues. - **Patient Interaction**: - Assist patients with billing inquiries and provide clear explanations of charges and insurance benefits. - Collect patient payments and manage accounts receivable. - **Reporting and Documentation**: - Maintain accurate records of coding and billing activities. - Generate reports related to coding and billing for management review. - **Collaboration**: - Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate coding and documentation. - Participate in team meetings to discuss updates in coding guidelines and billing procedures. Qualifications: - **Education**: - High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical coding and billing (CPC, CCA, or similar) preferred. - **Experience**: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding and billing. - Proficient in using "Office Practicum" software. - **Skills**: - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. - **Technical Skills**: - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Schedule: - Monday to Friday Application Question(s): - Are You Proficient in using "Office Practicum" software. - ETC - Notice period **Experience**: - Medical billing: 1 year (required) - Medical coding: 1 year (required) Work Location: Remote
