**Route Planning and Scheduling**:Developing and adjusting routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient pick-up and drop-off of students.
- overseeing the safe and efficient transportation of students.
- **Compliance and Safety**:Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, safety standards, and school policies related to transportation.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**:Overseeing the maintenance and repair of school buses, including regular inspections and ensuring they are in good working condition.
- **Staff Management**:Supervising and managing drivers, conductors, and other transport staff, including training, performance evaluation, and addressing any issues.
- **Problem-Solving**:Addressing and resolving any transportation-related issues or complaints from students, parents, or staff.
- **Record Keeping**:Maintaining accurate records of bus routes, schedules, maintenance, and other relevant information.
- **Communication**:Maintaining clear communication with school administration, parents, and transport staff regarding any changes or issues.

Safety and Compliance:

- **Emergency Procedures**:Ensuring that students are aware of and understand emergency procedures and evacuation drills.
- **Safety Inspections**:Conducting regular safety inspections of buses and equipment to identify and address any potential hazards.
- **Incident Reporting**:Promptly reporting any accidents or incidents to the appropriate authorities and following up on any necessary actions.
- **Coordination**:Coordinating with other school departments, such as admissions, to ensure smooth transportation arrangements.
- **Community Relations**:Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents and the regarding transportation services.

Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in school transportation management. Strong
