**Job Summary**:
The Staff Nurse provides direct care to patients in various settings, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care. Responsibilities include monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications, assisting in procedures, and supporting patients and their families.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care**:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.) and report any changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide wound care, dressings, and assist with the use of medical equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort and assist with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, mobility).
- **Collaboration and Communication**:
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain clear and accurate patient records, ensuring that they are updated in real-time.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members, explaining treatments and care plans.
- **Safety and Infection Control**:
- Follow safety protocols and ensure infection control measures are in place, including the use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or potential risks to appropriate authorities.
- Monitor and manage the patient environment to ensure it is safe and clean.
- **Patient Education**:
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and medications.
- Provide guidance on post-treatment care and rehabilitation if necessary.
- **Record Keeping**:
- Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is documented accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in handovers and report changes in patient conditions during shift changes.
- **Support**:
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond to patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Offer support to colleagues and assist with mentoring or training new staff.
- **Emergency Response**:
- Provide emergency care as required, following protocols for life-saving interventions.
- Remain calm and decisive in high-stress situations.
- **Professional Development**:
- Stay updated on the latest nursing practices, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in training, workshops, and continuing education as required.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or diploma in Nursing.
- **Licensure**:
- Must hold a valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license (or equivalent, depending on the country).
- **Experience**:
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred, but entry-level nurses may also be considered.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as work on your feet for extended periods.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as administering injections, dressing wounds, and operating medical equipment.
**Work Environment**:
- May work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the healthcare facility's schedule.
- Exposure to various medical conditions and potentially infectious materials.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
