**Responsibility**
- Serve as an image for the organization.
- To ensure smooth coordination and departmental functioning with quality patient care.
- To maintain staff rostering and ensure proper allocation /deployment as per requirement /ratio/assigned roster.
- Monitoring duty as per the roaster, staff performance and also guide them in day to day work process.
- Re-shuffle during shortage of manpower if needed.
- To conduct departmental trainings for all junior staff
- Preparedness of facilities - ensure smooth flow by coordinating inputs of various support services, like HK, Laundry, Billing.
- Giving round of patients and attending to their problems.
- Coordinating the functioning of the ward (non nursing, non clinical part)
- Daily interact with patients and giving Ward rounds, attend patient needs.
- Supervise - Admission process till discharge as per organizational protocol.
- Discharge handling and Counseling, Financial counseling - during stay and discharge
- Supervise all process related to Discharge of patient for speedy discharge
- Coordinating with various departments related to patient services and following up with other departments regarding service specifications.
- Facilitate admission & discharge process to ensure highest patient satisfaction,
- Responsible for organizing, taking charge of preparing all documents of the patient upon admission and discharge. In addition, any filing of lab tests & diagnostic results etc as and when required.
- Following up with Insurance Desk regarding approval, denial or enhancement related to treatment process.
- Report Management - Updating various MIS reports & supplying the same on demand.
- Ensure availability of required items / ward consumption booking and no excess / expiry stock
- Take all necessary initiatives in budgetary control ,cost control
- To perform the Appropriate billing process.
- Ensure upkeepment of the ward
- To countercheck the booking / billing of all patient availed services and consumption
- Take active participation in all Quality related procedures for updation of Quality in patient services
- Timely action on all directives in daily patient service meeting
- To follow the patient safety protocol & ensure Quality standards are maintained.
- Timely submission of Medical record file to MRD
- Gap closure and escalation as required
- To Participate all kind of training for self development
- To maintain all documents ,register as per Quality Guideline and also as per Infection control guide line and departmental standards
- Ensuring feedback collection from inpatients
- Preparing medical report file to be sent to Medical Records & ensuring the sending of the same.
- Awareness of all the services offered by Suyash Hospitals.
- Participate in company-led activities, daily/ Weekly meetings, training and workshops and give feedback.
- Participate in hospital quality program (NABH) and be member of quality committees if chosen
- Supervise Insurance and corporate File submission to respective TPA or Corporate Office
- Supervise for Insurance Patients for documents as per hospital protocol at the time of admission
- Supervise bill wise discounts report
- Supervise Round Sheet Report and close the issue, if any
- Follow hierarchy system for coordination.
- Should have willing to do any duty as per management requirement.
- Ensure for patient satisfaction.
**General Management Responsibilities**
1. Responsible for smooth functioning of all OPD ward
2. Coordinate with the OPD floor coordinator with all aspect and solve the problem on urgent basis for ensure the quality services.
3. Ensure effective operation, and administrational function as per SOP
4. Participating in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the hospital’s quality assurance program for OPD. Inpatient and Emergency Department
5. Ensure that the day to day report of OPD floor/area must reach to concern department by EOD
6. Be a bridge between the clinical and administration in all matters and maintains transparency in all regards.
7. Ensure implementation the new services
8. Maintains a liaison with the physician, the patient, their family, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for the patient’s care.
9. Escalate unresolved problems and issues to HOD/Jt. General Manager -Operations /COO
10. Coordinate & communicate with other secretarial staff in his/her ward/working area
11. Initiatives for improving the efficiency of the ward and enhancement of operations function

**Patient Care Responsibilities**
1. Ensuring that departmental personnel, patients, and visitors follow the department’s established policies and procedures at all times.
