**Title - SAP BODS Admin/Developer** **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES** **Description** The BODS developer will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing and supporting data ETL solutions leveraging SAP BODS 4.x. Will be responsible for developing BODS workflows, dataflows, mapping including DQ transformations like address cleansing, data cleanse and Match. Nice to have SAP HANA modeling experience using various Calculation Views/dimensions and SQL Scripting, utilizing the advanced features of HANA Studio. **Job Function** Discretionary Work Management (Projects/Enhancements) - Translates business requirements into appropriate solutions while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution. - Work in Planning, Developing, Implementing and Managing Data Warehouse Project Deliverables, Design Documents and High-Level Data Mapping for SAP BODS ETL Specifications. - Recognize BODS related risks/issues that need escalation and arrange for appropriate assistance. - Ensure adherence to the PMO process for managing projects and required deliverables. - Participate in regular status meetings with project teams, as led by project analysts. Technical Development Management - Responsible for developing BODS workflows/dataflows/mapping. - Good knowledge in various BODS transformations including DQ like address cleansing, data cleanse and Match. - Experience with SQL and procedures in Native HANA. - Performance tuning using caches and parallel execution using bulk loading and dataflow execution. - Loading delta records on both source and target level CDC on type1, type 2, and type 3 SCD. - Deploy code across Dev, QA and Production environments using central repositories. - Responsible to run ETL batch in different environments. - Administration, architecture, installation of BODS, migration, maintenance and technical support - Contribute to coordination and planning of BODS Infrastructure related activities / outages - Must be a resourceful problem solver who possesses creativity in resolving problems - Possess a project oriented approach to development work - Ensure accuracy of the implementation through unit testing and assists in user acceptance testing. - Provide Data support post launch. - Ability to work independently and drive work to completion - Ability to manage a heavy workload, achieve results while meeting project deadlines with mínimal supervision Relationship Management - Interact, collaborate and negotiate with project team, IT colleagues and business line contacts to integrate activities to meet client needs - Provide input to supervisors of project personnel - Follow standards and processes for change management and version control - Good communication skill Support Management - Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot data related issues(joins etc) in a timely manner and best practices of the company - Identify continuous process improvement opportunities and operationalize solutions for same. - Maintain SAP BODS Coding best practices and standards. Ensure that the best practices are enforced and followed during the development process. - Assist business and functional leads with day-to-day development, support, and troubleshooting. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** **Education** - Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required - **Experience** - At least 5 years of experience in Business Objects Data Services (workflows. Mapping, dataflows, Data integrator/Data Quality/Platform transformations etc.) - At least 5 years of experience in Datawarehousing. - At least 5 years delivering complex data management engagements including all phases of the project life cycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live phases. - Significant amount of experience in SAP HANA Modelling (calculation views) - Strong knowledge of data modeling and star-schemas. - Working knowledge and experience with SQL language. 4+ Years. - A good understanding of best practices such as naming conventions in creating BODS jobs. - Experience working with a large data warehouse a plus - Experience in connecting BODS with a REST/SOAP API is a plus. - Experience in extracting semi-structured data like JSON is a plus - Strong analytical skills and Strong process orientation with significant attention to detail - Effective interpersonal skills with ability to participate in and lead "Virtual" teams - Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing, business intelligence and CRM tools. - Work in an onsite-offshore model involving daily interactions with onsite teams to ensure on-time quality deliverables. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Regular / Permanent, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance Pay: ₹421,343.20 - ₹1,669,842.10 per year **Benefits**: - Health insurance - Paid time off Schedule: - Evening shift - Flexible shift - Night shift Ability to commute/relocate:
