- Job Description

Content Writer

Exp - 3 to 4years

Np - 15days to Immediate

Activities and Tasks
- Help plan content strategy for various programs / initiatives running in Client. Help develop and produce content to engage audiences and stakeholders across various channels
- Help develop newsletters, websites and other communication products
- Contribute to the development of social media content and campaigns
- Contribute strategically and project manage campaigns being run
- Contribute to keeping the Client website current
- Be able to distill work from research and practice, and other programme's at Client and write content in accessible formats
- Collaborate with multiple teams across Client, to find the stories within the work, that showcase the breadth and depth of individual projects, collaborations and people
- Be thorough and meticulous in ensuring consistency in tonality in content, across channels (internal and external)
- Be research oriented in collecting information and data for content and communications strategies
- Look at content holistically and beyond written text, entailing an understanding of those consuming the content
- Other projects as assigned.

Structure and Reporting

**Requirements**:
The Content writer shall have:

- 3-5 years of writing/content experience including an understanding of digital communications
- A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related fields
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Eye for detail
- Appreciation for research, in theory and practice, and across their work
- Experience with writing across formats
- Knowledge of and experience with social media platforms is a plus

Added advantage: Journalist/content writer with development sector experience

The Content Writer will:

- Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude with the ability to work independently to produce high quality work products
- Have the ability to handle multiple tasks and collaborate across teams
- Have the ability to work collaboratively; professional, well organized and result oriented with an eye for detail
- Be flexible and able to work cooperatively under pressure
- Have the ability and desire to stay updated on what is happening across client and within the industry

Location

This position is based in Bengaluru and may entail travel to other locations in India.
