**Qualification** **:Dip. in Tool & Die Making + B. E. (Mechanical) preferred

**Experience**: 8-10 years in designing tools independently & possessing good inter-personal skills

**Preferred Industrial Experience**: Tool Manufacturing / Aluminium Die Casting / Injection Moulding

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Independent Tool design for Aluminium Die Casting i.e.
- Gravity Die Casting (GDC),
- High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) &
- Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC)
- Design of jigs & fixtures
- Trouble shooting for Casting Defects
- Cost Estimation of tools & dies
- Trouble shooting
- Knowledge of : CNC machining & Geometirc Dimensioning & Tolerance (GDT) Engineering calculations
- Independently lead entire development project from Die Design (contract review) to sample approval.

**Hands on Software Knowledge of**:

- MS office
- CAD Modeller - UGNx 6 ; Solid Works ; Solid Edge

**Additional (Desireable) skills**:

- Knowledge of casting simulation software,
- CAM programming,
- Vendor development for machining vendors

**Having experience in working in ERP environment is necessary.
