**Assistant Professor - Engineering Department**

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Department: Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.**

Reporting To: Head of the Department / Principal

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions as per the academic curriculum.
- Prepare and update course materials, lesson plans, and evaluation methods.
- Guide students in their academic projects, internships, and research activities.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and technical events to foster a culture of innovation.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement of academic programs.
- Engage in scholarly research, publish papers in reputed journals, and present at conferences.
- Mentor and counsel students for academic, personal, and professional growth
- Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to consultancy and outreach programs.
- Take part in departmental and institutional activities, meetings, and committees.
- Uphold the values and academic philosophy of ICCS College.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
M.Tech. / Ph.D. in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university with First Class at UG and PG level (as per AICTE/UGC norms).

**Experience**:
Freshers with excellent academic records may also apply.

Teaching or research experience in reputed institutions or industry experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Research orientation and academic integrity
- Familiarity with outcome-based education (OBE) practices
- Ability to use digital tools and learning management systems (LMS)

Desirable Attributes:

- Experience in emerging technology areas such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Robotics, etc.
- Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary teaching and research.
- Active participation in MOOC platforms like NPTEL, Coursera, etc.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to rural education, social outreach, and innovation-driven initiatives.
