**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors at [College Name]. The Receptionist will provide administrative support, answer inquiries, and ensure the smooth operation of the front office.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Front Desk Management**: Greet and assist visitors, students, faculty, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- **Telephone Management**: Answer, screen, and direct calls to appropriate departments or individuals.
- **Information Handling**: Provide general information about the college, programs, and services to students, parents, and prospective visitors.
- **Administrative Support**: Assist with basic office duties such as filing, data entry, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Schedule meetings, appointments, and events for administrators or faculty members, and maintain the office calendar.
- **Mail and Deliveries**: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Assist with outgoing mail when necessary.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain and update student and staff contact information, as well as other administrative records.
- **Student Support**: Assist students with directions and provide them with necessary forms or materials. Answer inquiries about campus services and events.
- **Communication**: Maintain effective communication between various departments and ensure any issues are reported to the appropriate staff members.
- **Other Duties**: Assist with other administrative or clerical tasks as required by the administration.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an office or customer service role, preferably in an educational setting.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Comfortable working with diverse populations.
- **Personal Attributes**:
- Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
