We are a small startup based in New Zealand and are seeking a talented SEO Expert to help optimize our Shopify store and improve our online visibility. This is a short-term role with a duration of 6 months and requires someone who can work according to New Zealand timing. The position is available for Monday to Friday, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough website audits to identify areas for improvement in terms of search engine optimization.
- Optimize product descriptions, meta tags, headings, and other on-page elements to improve organic search rankings.
- Perform keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and trends.
- Develop and implement effective link building strategies to enhance the store's authority and visibility.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and SEO-friendly content for the website.
- Track and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, conversion rates, and keyword rankings.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to the marketing team for optimizing social media content to boost online visibility (bonus point).

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an SEO Expert, preferably with expertise in optimizing Shopify stores.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, algorithms, and best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive SEO improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- **Bonus**: Experience creating compelling content for social media platforms.

Salary Range: INR 18,000-20,000 (commensurate with experience)
