Job Description: Lab Chemist - Biogas Plant / Fertilizer Testing

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct chemical analysis and testing of raw materials like pressmud, cow dung, and poultry waste.
- Perform quality checks on finished products such as FOM, LFOM, Potash, and PROM to ensure compliance with standards.
- Test and analyze digester samples to monitor performance parameters like pH, volatile solids, and gas composition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, sample records, and batch details.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with regulatory and NABL standards.
- Identify quality concerns, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with plant operators to optimize production processes based on testing outcomes.
- Manage inventory of lab chemicals, equipment, and consumables.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in biogas plant testing or fertilizer analysis.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with NABL standards and fertilizer quality regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to prepare comprehensive reports and share findings with the production team.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in testing biogas parameters like methane content, CO₂ levels, and hydrogen sulfide.
- Knowledge of organic fertilizer formulation and testing.
- Ability to handle certification-related testing procedures.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
