Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- **Vendor Development**: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
- **Procurement**: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.
- **Cost Management**: Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing; negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- **Quality Assurance**: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased materials meet required standards.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain optimal inventory levels by coordinating with production schedules and forecasting needs.
- **Documentation**: Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and finance, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement or vendor management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- **Skills**:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
**Job Type**: Permanent
