The EDI Designer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the electronic data interchange (EDI) systems. They will analyze the current process of exchanging documents, understand the current and legacy systems, analyze data and develop strategies to make the EDI functions more efficient. They must have an extensive knowledge of developing and maintaining EDI systems, knowledge of XML, SQL, and messaging protocols, and excellent troubleshooting skills. The EDI Designer will coordinate with teamsto ensure the EDI systems run smoothly, and will be constantly researching and implementing new technologies and processes to fit the company's ever-evolving needs.
- Must have 6+ years of Hand-On experience on the below topics
- Extensive experience in Design, develop and delivering Integration in SAP PI/PO and SAP B2B Integration.
- Understand the functionalities of each EDI document and message types based on the Group Segments.
- Expert in designing EDI specification, code-list, and functional profiles.
- Experience in stabilizing & operating complex SAP environments for EDI flows.
- Experience of working with different EDI formats like ANSI X12, Edifact, etc.
- Knowledge to understand and design EDI flows in SAP PO, based on the existing mappings from other EDI Platforms like GXS.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment, use proactive communication and collaboration with different teams and individuals to achieve results.
- Must be Team Player and must be self-driven.
