Junior Architect

As a Junior Architectural Designer at K2 Architects, you will play a crucial role in assisting our design team with various tasks related to architectural design projects. You will work closely with our senior architects and project managers, gaining valuable experience in the field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Concepts**: Collaborate with the design team to develop architectural concepts and ideas. Participate in the creation of design schemes, sketches, and mood boards.
- **Technical Drawings**: Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings.
- **Site Visits**: Support the project management team in coordinating site visits and contribute to on-site assessments. Gain practical knowledge of architectural project execution.
- **Renderings**: Participate in the creation of architectural renderings to visualize design concepts and ideas effectively.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the design team to brainstorm ideas, exchange feedback, and contribute to the creative design process.
- **Documentation**: Assist in maintaining project documentation, including records of design changes, specifications, and client communications.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in architecture or a related field (BArch or MArch).
- Proficiency in architectural design concepts and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling using Rhinoceros 3D and SketchUp.
- Familiarity with rendering software, especially Twinmotion, is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of BIM software, especially Revit and ArchiCAD, is a huge plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for architecture.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, creative work environment.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow in the field of architectural design.
- Skills in Unreal Engine is a massive plus.
