About The Role : Medical Writer (Copy / Content Writer Exp in Social Media)

Location : Mumbai (Powai) - Work from Office

Medical Writer:

- Qualification: B pharma/BSc/M Pharma/Msc (Life Sciences)/ BDS
- Experience - Min 2-3 Year Experience is desirable
- CTC - As per industry standards and basis experience

**Job Description**:

- Perform requisite data mining and co-ordinate with cross-functional teams as per the requisite needs of the document.
- Customizing products like newsletters, leave behind literatures, scientific compendiums, slide decks and booklets meant for doctors.
- Would involve studying scientific journals, sourcing content relevant to specific requirements and rewriting & representing the same to avoid copyright issues.
- Editing and data fact checking of content documents to ensure there are no mistakes / inconsistencies.
- Coordination with the design team to package the scientific content in an innovative and appealing format.
- Proper citations and referencing of documents.
- Sending out content documents to the clients and coordinating with them for suggestions and final approvals.

**Required Skills**:

- Substantial knowledge of varied therapeutic areas, regulatory/scientific guidelines and key statistical concepts.
- Understand your audience. Are you writing for regulators, scientists, doctors, or consumers and the general public?
- Logical and succinct with accurate data interpretation and representation.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency and security of data - using stringent document management systems.
- Keep abreast of new relevant information, and undergo regular training and online courses to enhance your skills.
- Establishes clear objectives, organises ideas and embraces creativity. Learn how to write quality content that your readers will understand.
- Uses well-planned search strategy, appropriate keywords and a variety of sources when researching journal articles and medical research papers.
- Performs critical content reviews, correctly interprets results, identifies potential limitations and discusses unexpected findings.
- Well-honed verbal, non-verbal and listening skills for problem solving, negotiation and decision-making.
- Highly organised, proactive, respects metrics driven timelines and accountability for quality. Accepts responsibilities and delegates efficiently.
