Service In-charge

**KEY PURPOSE**

Service In-Charge is a technical expert at the dealership. The role of Service In-Charge is to ensure dealer profitability through customer satisfaction. He has to lead workshop team who help him in this endeavour. Service In-Charge also needs to plan and work to build up manpower capabilities for present & future requirements.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To resolve all complex technical problems which could not be resolved by technicians.
- To prepare skill matrix for all the technical staff and design class room accordingly.
- To train dealership personnel on the product and ensure relevant technical information is available across (Sales & Customer Care) the dealership.
- To analyse repeat repairs and initiate corrective actions basis root causes.
- In-charge of technical library at the dealership.
- Share best practices / important observation with the team in meetings.
- Ensure high quality and safety in workshop.
- Ensure all technical SOPs are adhered to.
- Educating shop floor staff on 3S to maintain high level of discipline and housekeeping.
- Upkeep of Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) file and sharing with all concerned during team meeting.

**BAND Managerial SKILLS REQUIREMENT**
- Highly proficient in automobile basics and strong technical knowledge.
- Should be meticulous in execution.
- Should show high degree of accuracy.
- Must be very disciplined.
- Should exhibit confidence and assertiveness in problem solving.
- Must possess good diagnostic and analytical abilities with speed in work.
- Should have passion to coach and train others.

**EDUCATION**
- Diploma or BE / B Tech or Equivalent, in Mechanical / Automobile stream.
