**Requirements**:
**Position Overview**:
**This role requires a proactive leader who can collaborate effectively with production, rapid prototyping, mechanical, and product teams to ensure the seamless flow of materials and products.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Technical Product Sourcing**:

- **
Identify and establish relationships with domestic and international vendors.**
- ** Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.**
- ** Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.**

**Logistics Management**:

- **
Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.**
- ** Coordinate and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.**
- ** Monitor and optimize logistics costs while maintaining high service levels.**

**Inventory Management**:

- **
Oversee inventory planning and control to meet production and customer demands.**
- ** Implement inventory management systems and practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.**
- ** Conduct regular audits and analyze inventory data to improve accuracy and efficiency.**

**Manufacturing Lead Time Reduction**:

- **
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements.**
- ** Develop strategies to reduce lead times and enhance production efficiency.**
- ** Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.**

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- **
Work closely with production, rapid prototyping, mechanical, and product teams to align supply chain activities with company goals.**
- ** Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.**
- ** Participate in product development and innovation initiatives to support new product launches.**

**Supplier Relationship Management**:

- **
Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.**
- ** Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.**
- ** Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.**

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.**
- ** Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.**
- ** Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.**

**Qualifications**:

- **
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree/MBA preferred.**
- ** Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.**
- ** Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and manage multiple priorities.**
- ** Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.**
- ** Experience working with international vendors and understanding of global supply chain dynamics.**
