**Job Summary**:
The Electrician (Maintenance) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures that electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and supporting the overall productivity of the manufacturing facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Electrical Maintenance**:

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery and equipment to minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform corrective actions in a timely manner.
- **Installation & Upgrades**:

- Install new electrical systems and equipment as required, including wiring, control panels, and fixtures.
- Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems to meet updated standards and improve energy efficiency.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols when working on electrical systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and recommend improvements to electrical safety practices.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades.
- Prepare reports on electrical system performance and suggest improvements or preventive measures.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of electrical supplies and order new materials as needed.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and production staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior electricians or apprentices when needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or a technical school program in electrical maintenance is preferred.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- **Licenses/Certifications**: A valid electrician’s license is required. Certification in industrial maintenance or similar is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical components.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and around machinery.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.

**Work Environment**:

- Manufacturing plant setting with exposure to loud noises, dust, and machinery.
- May require working on weekends, holidays, or during off-hours in case of emergencies.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
