Printing Supervisor

Gender: Male

Education: Degree or Diploma in Printing Technology / Diploma from CIPET.
Experience: 5 to 10 years hand on experience as a Printing Supervisor of Rotogravure Printing Machines. (MLS & ELS).

He will be responsible to handle the shifts and maintain the records.

Duty Hours: 8 Hours. (Ready to work in Shifts).

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Printing Supervisor to join our team at Modern Packaging Company. The Printing Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing our printing operations, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a hands-on leader with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering superior results.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team of printing technicians and operators, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor printing processes and equipment performance to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure adherence to company standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance and repairs with the maintenance team.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production planning and quality assurance, to coordinate workflow and address any production-related issues.
- Stay informed about advancements in printing technology and industry trends, and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance productivity and quality.
- Train and develop printing staff on new processes, equipment, and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in a printing supervisory role, preferably in a packaging or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of printing processes, including flexographic and gravure printing.
- Proficiency with printing software and equipment, such as color management systems and printing presses.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
