**Job Role: AutoCAD Draftsman**

**Experience: 2-4 years**

**Location: Pune**

**Job summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

Prepare **detailed fabrication drawings** for structural steel components (trusses, purlins, columns, etc.)

Create **erection drawings**, layout plans, and GA (general arrangement) drawings

Ensure drawings meet industry and client standards (IS codes / project specs)

Coordinate with site teams, engineers, and fabricators for revisions and clarifications

Maintain drawing records and update documentation as per site changes (as-built)

Assist in material take-offs (MTO) and basic quantity estimation if needed

**Key Requirements**
- **Experience**: 2-4 years of experience in drafting with a focus on industrial, metro, railway, ports, or airport projects.
- **Education**: Graduation in B.Tech/B.E., specializing in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and other relevant CAD software tools.
- ITI / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Drafting
- 2-5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in **steel structure / fabrication industry**:

- Proficient in **AutoCAD** (2D essential; 3D is a plus)
- Good understanding of structural and fabrication components
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
