**Key Responsibilities:1. Library Collection Management**
- Organize, catalog, and maintain the school’s collection of books, digital resources, and educational materials.
- Regularly update the collection with age-appropriate **fiction, non-fiction, reference books, and multimedia resources**.
- Conduct **inventory checks and maintain accurate library records**.
- Ensure that books are in good condition and replace or repair damaged materials.

**2. Literacy & Reading Promotion**
- Develop and implement **reading programs, book clubs, and storytelling sessions** to encourage a love for reading.
- Organize **library events**, such as author visits, book fairs, and themed reading weeks.
- Recommend books to students based on their interests, reading levels, and academic needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate **library resources into classroom learning**.

**3. Student Assistance & Library Services**
- Guide students in **selecting appropriate reading materials** and developing independent research skills.
- Provide **instruction on using the library catalog, digital databases, and reference materials**.
- Teach students **basic research techniques, citation methods, and responsible internet usage**.
- Assist students with **homework, projects, and literacy-related activities**.

**4. Teacher Collaboration & Curriculum Support**
- Work closely with teachers to align **library resources with the school curriculum**.
- Provide recommendations on **books, articles, and digital materials** that support lesson plans.
- Assist in **lesson planning, project-based learning, and literacy intervention programs**.

**5. Library Technology & Digital Resources**
- Maintain and update **digital resources, e-books, and online research tools**.
- Teach students and staff how to use **library software, online databases, and digital archives**.
- Introduce students to **audiobooks, educational apps, and interactive reading tools**.

**6. Library Environment & Behavior Management**
- Create a **welcoming and engaging space** that encourages quiet reading, group learning, and creativity.
- Establish and enforce **library rules and policies** to maintain a productive environment.
- Promote **a culture of responsibility** by teaching students how to properly handle and return books.

**7. Administrative & Reporting Duties**
- Maintain **accurate records of book checkouts, returns, overdue books, and lost materials**.
- Prepare reports on **library usage, student engagement, and resource needs** for school leadership.
- Stay up-to-date with **trends in children's literature and educational technology**.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
