**Job description**
- what you will do:
- as an integral part of the data engineering team, onboard various data sources by
- creating ETL pipelines
- you will provide resolutions and/ or workaround to data pipeline related
- queries/issues as appropriate
- you will ensure that Ingestion pipelines that empower the lakehouse and data mesh
- are up and running
- you will enable end users of the data ecosystem with query debugging and
- optimization
- you will collaborate with different teams in order to understand/resolve data
- availability and consistency issues
- you will make sure that the teams consuming data are able to do so without
- spending the majority of their time on acquiring, cleaning and transforming it
- you will help other teams to become more independent with data analysis and data
- quality, by coaching with tools and practices
- you will exhibit continuous improvement in technical knowledge and
- problem-resolution skills and strive for excellence
having 1-3 years of experience in ETL and data engineering
- can read and write complex SQL
- have prior experience in Python and spark
- are aware of your way around data modelling, data warehousing and lakehouse (we
- use databricks)
- come with experience in working on cloud services, preferably AWS
- constantly learning and looking for ways to improve yourself and the processes
- around you
- can be a team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshootin
