Job Description for P2 Cloud Services

Position: Stream Serve V 16x

**The Opportunity**:
The resource will be part of a Cloud Services team providing Application Management and Maintenance for OpenText customers spread across the globe. Wide breadth of skills enabling one to solve complex problems in the areas of Application Availability, Performance and Capacity both in terms of incidents and problems. Experience in Production Operations (or Support) plus Software Maintenance are a must.

Consultant is responsible for the technical delivery of the SS (StreamServe) Platform, Version 16.x based solutions. Such delivery activities encompass the deployment and troubleshooting to specific items of core product functionality or its integration components.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, maintain and monitor one or more OpenText (OT) products/solutions in the Cloud: OT Cloud, Customer premises, or 3rd party IaaS.
- Troubleshoot and find resolutions/workarounds to incidents
- Work on performance tuning within or Outside OTES.
- Work in shifts: Morning, Regular, Afternoon and Night on rotation basis.
- Participate and contribute to technical design & deployment activities.
- Participate in the advanced configuration of SS software components, in line with project and customer time scales.
- Familiar with modules Control Center, Design Center.
- End to end handling of StreamServe upgrade to R16 including scaling and sizing will be a plus
- Actively contribute in patching and upgrade activities where possible to achieve operational efficiencies.
- Collaborating on cross-team and cross-product technical issues with a variety of resources including Product support, IT, and Professional Services.

**Skill set required**:
4 to 5 years of experience on Administration and installations on relevant OpenText StreamServe Platform. Exposure to remote administration services, or cloud operations environment.

**Technical skills**:

- Design Center, Control Center
- Integration experience on StreamServe, Content Server and Archive Server
- Well versed deployment and troubleshooting of the OpenText Stream Serve Platform and surrounding components
