We are looking for a Fashion Merchandiser to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our product assortment and inventory.

**Job Summary**: The Fashion Merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating with buyers, managing stock levels, conducting market research, and ensuring effective communication with the sales team. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze data, and a proactive approach to inventory management and product selection.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Coordination with Buyers**:

- Work with buyers to determine the right product mix based on current trends, sales data, and customer needs.
- Adjust orders as necessary to meet inventory requirements and optimize sales.

**2. Stock Management**:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of products while minimizing excess stock.
- Analyze sales reports and inventory data to make informed decisions on stock replenishment.

**3. Market Research**:
Conduct research on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products.

Use insights to recommend changes in product assortment and identify new opportunities.

**4. Sales Floor Coordination**:

- Communicate with the sales team to gather feedback on customer preferences and sales performance.
- Implement merchandising strategies effectively on the sales floor to enhance customer experience.

**5. Reporting and Analysis**:

- Prepare reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and market trends.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve product offerings and inventory management.

**6. Supplier Relations**:

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure favorable terms.
- Oversee the ordering process to ensure timely delivery of products.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a retail or merchandising role, with a focus on inventory management and product coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate effectively with buyers, sales teams, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and merchandising software is a plus, but not required.
