**Job Summary**:
As a BI Intern, you will work closely with the BI team to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making processes. You will assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), report generation, and data visualization tasks. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and providing insights based on data analysis.

**Responsibilities**:
**Data Collection and Analysis**:

- Assist in gathering and organizing data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant systems.
- Clean and prepare data for analysis by performing data cleaning, formatting, and transformation tasks.
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

**Report Generation**:

- Help create and update regular reports and dashboards using BI tools and software.
- Collaborate with the BI team to develop standardized reporting templates and processes.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data in reports and highlight any anomalies or discrepancies.

**Data Visualization**:

- Assist in designing and creating data visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and infographics, to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with the BI team to improve the visual appeal and usability of dashboards and reports.

**Cross-functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with various departments or teams to understand their data needs and assist in providing relevant insights.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to gather requirements for ad-hoc analyses and reporting projects.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, both verbally and in written reports.

**Continuous Learning**:

- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices related to business intelligence and data analysis.
- Learn and acquire new technical skills required for data extraction, analysis, and visualization.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
- Basic understanding of data visualization principles and experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
