Payroll Executive

- The role in a nutshell:
- The key goal of a Payroll Executive is to manage the full payroll process including receiving, validating, and completing payroll-related data activities on behalf of Safeguard. The role will also take full ownership of all client- communications, ensuring timely responses, follow-through, and resolution of client inquiries.- How you will make a difference:
- Manage overall operations of payrolls for countries like LATAM, US or Global
- Maintains payroll information by designing systems, directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
- Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
- Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of pay checks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
- Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
- Processing of payroll for Client’s employees.
- Deduction setup, checking standard deduction, new hires and termination.

- Payroll experience (Only International Payroll Specialist eligible)
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
- Experience in managing multiple customers in a payroll
- Tenacious, organized and customer focused approach
- Demonstrable customer service skills.
