Position Title:
Sustainable Procurement - Administrator
Position Summary:
The Sustainable Procurement Administrator will be responsible for supporting Momentive in supplier sustainability initiatives and increasing sustainability awareness and practices. He/She will work with Momentive suppliers and conduct corporate social responsibility (CSR) and Scope-3 green-house gases (GHG) assessments. He/she will actively encourage and train Momentive suppliers to follow best sustainable practices. He/She will participate in developing score cards & supporting commodity managers with CSR assessments. This role will be reporting to Procurement Support Team Lead in Bangalore.
**Job Description**:
- Corporate social responsibility assessments
- Review spend file and identify target suppliers
- Support commodity managers to get questionnaires back from the suppliers
- Generate scorecards to track progress of suppliers CSR assessments and identify suppliers that need improvement
- Scope-3 Accounting & Reporting:
- Interact with suppliers to obtain Carbon dioxide coefficient data and carbon footprint of the products they sell to Momentive
- Maintain Carbon dioxide coefficient data
- Maintain Scope-3 accounting calculator
- Develop a maintenance scorecard for Scope-3 reporting
- Other Responsibilities:
- Interact with supplier development process team to integrate sustainability expectations to the suppliers
- Calculate & maintain Carbon dioxide reduction resulted from sustainability projects
- Maintain share-point portal for sustainable procurement & supplier development
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Actively pursue continuous improvement opportunities resulting in improved data management and efficient sustainability process.
