Bioinformatics Associate

**Position: Bioinformatics Associate - Child Health Project**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a background in **bioinformatics** (freshers welcome) to join our interdisciplinary research team. The project focuses on discovering novel biomarkers and understanding growth, neurodevelopment, and metabolic health in children, using advanced high-throughput platforms and multi-omics data.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with analysis of large-scale proteomics and clinical datasets.
- Perform data cleaning, quality checks, and integration of biological and phenotypic data.
- Support the team in documentation, data management, and reporting.
- Collaborate with clinicians, laboratory scientists, and data analysts.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Basic experience in R/Python or other data analysis tools (academic projects/internships acceptable).
- Understanding of omics data analysis and statistics (proteomics, genomics, or transcriptomics preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
