Job Title: System Architect and Administrator
Location: Bangalore
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture and Design: Architect a highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure that meets the specific needs of our SaaS solutions. Ensure the infrastructure supports a mixed tech stack environment effectively.
- Deployment and Management: Deploy and manage the infrastructure on our IaaS service provider, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Database Management: Administer and optimize MySQL, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Security and Compliance: Implement advanced security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards. Regularly update security measures in response to emerging threats.
- Backup and Recovery: Design and manage advanced data backup and recovery mechanisms to prevent data loss and ensure quick recovery in case of failures.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the system performance, anticipate potential issues, and proactively implement solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for the infrastructure, resolving issues efficiently.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the system architecture and configurations. Provide regular reports on system performance and health.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a System Architect/Administrator, particularly in a cloud environment.
- Strong expertise in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Extensive experience with MySQL, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud IaaS providers and cloud management tools.
- Deep understanding of system security, data protection, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills (preferred):
- Certifications in cloud architecture or system administration.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry and familiarity with its specific OT/IT requirements.
