**Finance Officer**

**Mumbai Mobile Creches**

Mumbai Mobile Creches is a non-profit organisation that has supported the health, safety and education of children living on construction sites for the last four decades. It runs comprehensive day care centres on construction sites, serving children who are among the most vulnerable of the urban poor. It has been a pioneer in developing early childhood education programmes and curriculum. In Mumbai, it serves over 3500 children through approximately 25 centres every year.

Mumbai Mobile Creches is seeking an experienced person for the position of Finance officer, for effectively carrying out the functions of Accounts and Finance. The Finance officer will be responsible for the following.

A. Make payments and receive funds in accordance with finance procedures:

- Collect and examine supporting documents.
- Ensure that documents and signatures are valid.
- Prepare requisitions/payment orders and ensure that they are properly delivered.
- Record all transactions, on manual/computer systems as appropriate.
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions

B. Accounting Entries

C. Bank and Accounts reconciliation

D. Ensure that all accounts records are filed in an orderly manner.

E. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and practices including cash management, payroll processes, TDS related documentation, financial disbursements, ledgers etc.

F. Ensure that all financial reporting is completed on time and submitted to donors.

G. Liasoning with Statutory and Internal Auditors

H. Assisting the Supervisor
- Sr. Finance Compliance Officer as and when required.

**Qualification**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounts & Finance
- With 3 to 4 years’ experience, preferably from NGO.
- Knowledge of Accounting software(Tally ERP 9)
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

The Mumbai Mobile Creches’ administrative office is in South Mumbai. Working hours are 9 : 30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month is a holiday.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
