**Job Title**: Mechanical Equipment Inspector

**Location**: Sohar, Oman
**Duration**: 12 months (or as per project requirement)
**Tentative Mobilisation**: October 2025

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect, monitor, and verify the installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Carry out inspections on **static equipment** (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, etc.) and **rotating equipment** (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with **ASME, API, ISO, and project specifications**.
- Prepare inspection and compliance reports with proper documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality requirements during all inspection activities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in inspection of **static and rotating equipment**.
- Strong knowledge of **ASME, API, ISO, and other international codes**.
- Experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas projects preferred.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
