General Summary:
Qualcomm is the innovation leader in the area of integrated chipsets that power advanced mobile devices, XR/IoT/Automotive & compute platforms. We are building on and expanding our reputation as the industry powerhouse for innovation in both wireless technologies and enabling advanced multimedia capabilities.

Key responsibilities will include subset of following:

- Identifying, understanding and documenting use cases and implementations of AR/VR and related technologies
- Leading technology, hardware and software experts to translate use case requirements into implementation specifications
- Defining and executing HW-SW partitioning analyses, and workload partitioning across SOCs for split-perception & split-rendering paradigms
- Defining and executing HW-SW feature analysis to optimize for power and performance
- System level use case modeling to validate and optimize architecture definition
- System level profiling and modeling of the use cases (power, performance, thermal)

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and project experience in architecture/micro-architecture
- 4+ years of system engineering or related work experience
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s and/or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science
- 7+ years experience in HW architecture/design with emphasis on areas listed above
- Proven experience in conducting architectural trade-offs, power/performance analysis and/or SW-HW trade-offs
- Extensive knowledge of graphics pipeline, computer vision pipelines, machine learning methods and/or camera pipelines
- Experience with system level modeling (performance and/or power)
- C/C++ programming

Educational Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred: Master’s / Doctorate, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
