**Compliance**
- Responsible for Conducting Compliance Induction training for new joiners.
- Responsible for Managing OBA affirmation and annual affirmations.
- Responsible for organizing annual firmwide personal account dealing training.
- Responsible for clearing personal account dealing for employees.
- Responsible for drafting and reviewing policies and ensuring they are annually updated
- Provide necessary support towards Operational Resilience and Operational Risk.
- Responsible for Managing Compliance trainings and Skill cast.
- SPOC for employees for compliance related queries
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local regulations as applicable to the company including but not limited to Company Law,
- Responsible for managing compliance calendar for the company and ensuring all regulatory/statutory compliances are completed timely by liaising with different business enablement areas
**Company Secretarial**
- Preparing agendas for a range of governance forums and committees, managing the meeting calendar and liaising with functional representatives responsible for preparing papers around deadlines, preparing meeting packs, and drafting the minutes, actions schedule and any upstream reports to other forums.
- Managing the Authorised Signatory process and dealing with sealing requests and other signatory queries
- Responsible for keeping legal entity data current in GEMS
- Responsible for ensuring all changes in relation to legal entity due to address or other changes are completed timely.
- Managing the process for regular statutory compliance events for the company including submission of confirmation statements and signoff of annual accounts, as well as ad hoc processes such as director changes
- Any other ad hoc tasks related to company secretarial function
**Legal**
- Responsible to be able to effectively engage with external law firms on legal matters in relation to third party contracts
- Act SPOC on legal matters for the internal teams
**Technical knowledge and experience**
- CS and LLB
- 10+ years post-qualified experience in similar profile
- Good understanding of GCC (advantageous but not essential)
- Good understanding of UK regulations (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong drafting abilities with particular ability/perception to be able to transpose/precis technical concepts/discussions with accurate, fluent and logical writing style for minutes and other reports
- Strong attention to detail for format and typography
- Good organisational skills and project management abilities
- Working knowledge of Diligent Boards (or equivalent board portal software)
- Working knowledge of GEMS (or equivalent legal entity management software)

- Natural investigative skills, sorting through apparently unrelated data and making connections.
- Strong numeracy.
- Computer literate with an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word (extensive formatting experience), PowerPoint and Excel
