**Key Responsibilities**
Building on industry-standard duties, this role includes:
- **Operate and monitor** high
- and low-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment, managing fuel, air, and water flows for optimal performance.
- **Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance**, including cleaning, lubrication, valve adjustments, and gauge and safety device checks.
- **Conduct water quality testing and treatment** (monitoring TDS, pH, and hardness) to prevent corrosion and scale build-up.
- **Diagnose and troubleshoot** boiler system faults; repair or escalate issues such as leaks or component failures.
- **Maintain accurate logbook entries and operational records**, documenting operations, maintenance, fuel usage, and incidents.
- **Ensure compliance** with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including IBR/IBR-like standards and workplace safety procedures.
- **Operate auxiliary equipment**, including pumps, fans, blowers, and air compressors.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Education**: Diploma or IT in boiler operation or related field preferred.
- **Certification**: Must hold a valid Boiler Operator license or certification per local/state regulations. IBR competency (e.g. Boiler 1st class or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- **Experience**: At least **3 years of hands-on experience** directly operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting boilers in industrial, manufacturing, or process plant environments.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems associated with boilers
- Confer familiarity with CMMS or logging systems is a plus
- Knowledge of water treatment, safety and interlock controls, combustion systems, and IBR/regulatory compliance.
**Soft Skills & Physical Demands**
- Strong **attention to detail**, analytical troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent **verbal and written communication** skills
- Ability to **work independently**, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively under pressure
- Comfortable with **shift work**, potential on-call or emergency response duties
- Physical capability to **lift up to ~25-50 kg**, climb ladders/stairs, enter confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
