**Job Summary**:
The Staff Nurse at Even Clinics plays a key role in delivering patient care in a multidisciplinary environment. The role involves providing support in various diagnostic procedures, assisting doctors and radiologists, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during their visits. The nurse will be expected to assist in radiology tasks, including but not limited to: ECG, USG & PFT, as well as supporting pathology collections, monitoring vitals, and ensuring accurate documentation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Vital Signs Monitoring**:
Take and record patient vitals such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation before, during, and after procedures or consultations.
- **Assisting with Diagnostic Procedures**:
Provide support to radiologists and doctors in performing various diagnostic procedures including:
- **USG (Ultrasonography)**: Assist radiologists during the ultrasound scanning process, ensuring patient positioning and comfort.
- **ECG (Electrocardiogram)**: Prepare and assist patients with ECGs, ensuring proper electrode placement and the recording of clear results.
- **Pathology Collection**:
Collect patient specimens for laboratory testing (blood, urine, or other samples), ensuring correct labeling and handling according to clinic procedures.
- **Patient Care & Comfort**:
Provide compassionate care and attention to patients, addressing any concerns or anxieties before, during, and after procedures. Ensure patient confidentiality and comfort during their visit.
- **Documentation & Record Keeping**:
Assist in accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including test results, vitals, and other relevant data in the clinic's electronic or paper systems. Ensure all records are kept confidential and updated.
- **Collaboration with Doctors and Specialists**:
Work closely with doctors from different specialties practicing at Even Clinics, assisting in various aspects of patient care and helping ensure smooth operations during consultations and procedures.
- **Sterilization & Safety Protocols**:
Ensure that all medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained according to infection control guidelines. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the clinic environment.
- **Other Duties**:
Provide general nursing support and assist with administrative tasks as required. Stay updated on best practices, new technologies, and clinical procedures relevant to the role.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**:
Nursing Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from an accredited institution.
Registered Nurse with valid licensure.
- **Experience**:
Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or diagnostic setting.
Experience with assisting in diagnostic tests and procedures (ECG, USG, X-Ray, etc.) is a plus.
- **Skills**:
Strong knowledge of medical procedures and nursing protocols.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and medical professionals.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and patient care.
Ability to manage patient concerns and provide emotional support as required.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capability to lift and position patients when required.
- Comfortable working with medical equipment and performing diagnostic tasks.
**Working Hours**:
- Full-time position with varying shifts, including weekends and evenings depending on doctor schedules.
Pay: Up to ₹22,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Rotational shift
Supplemental Pay:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- JP Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
