**Expert - Automation & Reporting**

**JOB PURPOSE**:

- GBS Intelligent Automation CoE is the digital transformation engine for Bayer Global Business Services (GBS) organization. It focuses on the re-imagination and digitization of capabilities, processes, services, and reporting for the Enterprise through the design, development, and deployment of scalable digital products and solutions. GBS Intelligent Automation CoE works with the different divisions, regions, and markets, leveraging a core set of integrated technologies, such as AI, ML, RPA, Conversational AI.
- As a Data engineering/ Data scientist, you will design, develop, test/train and deliver high performance Data engineering models, Business intelligence, Advanced analytics and ML solutions.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Accountabilities**:

- Evangelize with business stakeholders, Product Designers, and other developers within the GBS Intelligent Automation CoE to understand the current state process, business requirements to build business solution.
- Design, develop, and deploy Business Intelligence and data Analytics solutions on cloud(azure/AWS) using data bricks platform (through data pipeline, python programming).
- Provide technical consultancy to business partners in driving clarity of business requirements, assess and evaluate the right fit integration solution and high-level design
- Take ownership of business requirements of functional and technical specifications to deliver effective solutions in terms of scalability and performance.
- Hands on experience in data engineering to build proficient data models using SQL and Python
- Experience in identifying KPI’s that help business measure various business functions performance to make actionable insights to respective business stakeholders.

- External: SDM, Digital Leads, IT, External IT/ Vendor

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Good to have Specialization/certification in data bricks, Business intelligence or data analytics or Machine learning or AI
- **3-6 years** of hands-on experience in Data engineering to build robust, scalable and high performance big data modeling using data management tools SQL and data bricks;
- 3+ years hands-on experience in Databricks or Azure Databricks or big data systems in processing structured and semi structured data.
- **Strong understanding of**
- Statistics,
- Predictive Modeling (e.g., Regression Analysis, Time Series Forecasting),
- Machine Learning Algorithms (e.g., Decision Trees, Random Forest, Support Vector Machines)
- Clustering Techniques (e.g., K-means Clustering, Hierarchical Clustering),
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) Models, Neural Networks (e.g., Deep Learning)
- Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks),
- Recommender Systems (e.g., Collaborative Filtering, Content-Based Filtering),
- Anomaly Detection Models, Graph Analytics Models
- 3+ years hands on experience in developing visualization using PowerBI and power platform.
- Strong Experience with coding languages (e.g., Python, R) and next generation technologies (i.e., AI, ML,
- OCR, VR, Computer Vision / Image Processing, Deep Learning tools & techniques)
- Great to have exposure to data analytics and AI capabilities on cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft
- Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and cloud-specific PaaS and SaaS solutions)
- Experience working in Agile methodologies to build and deploy solutions in short cycles.
