**Business Title**: Boiler Attendant
**Reports to**:AM (Power plant)

**Role Purpose Statement**:
Responsible for performing various tasks to operate, monitor, troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, safety, food safety, chemical safety and GMP etc.

**Main activities/tasks**:
**Smooth operation of the Boiler Externally. i.e.**
- To check the husk feeding is properly in each shift report to 1st Class Boiler attendant.
- Ash is conveying properly in each shift report to 1st class Boiler attendant.
- Regular check of all the equipment working satisfactorily in each shift report to 1st Class Boiler attendant.
- Regular monitor the boiler / Thermopac-TFH bed condition report to 1st Class boiler attendant.
- Remove the clinker or any other stones and small pieces of bricks by draining Boiler bed material in each shift.
- P.A. line cleaning in each shift having coordination with 1st Class Boiler attendant and firemen.
- Check the ESP / Bag Filters / Trima Cyclones ash conveying smoothly.
- Boiler / TFH Bed Material feeding to boiler in order to make up the boiler bed.
- Height as per requirement by Boiler Foreman.
- P.A. line cleaning as required by 1st Class Boiler attendant.
- Husk feeding system observation, i.e. Husk feeding system should not be choked, report to 1st Class Boiler attendant.
- Housekeeping activities of Boiler House and surrounding areas on daily basis in each shift report to 1st Class Boiler attendant.

**External**: External working conditions are hot and dusty environment,

**Knowledge and Technical Competencies**:

- Knowledge to operate, maintain (Maintenance) & trouble shooting of Boiler operations.
- Manpower handling

**Education/Experience**:

- 10th / 10+2 + ITI 2nd Class Boiler Attendant with 3-5 Years of working Experience as Boiler / TFH Fireman
- Must have working experience at Boiler / TFH 3 to 5 years.
- Ability to read write Hindi / English / Punjabi
