You will be working as Global Data Scientist and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation business area for BA Function Marketing and Sales division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Analytics Manager and will be responsible for delivering and implementing analytics strategy in one or more functional areas in alignment with business stakeholders. Leveraging knowledge of advanced analytics to make business impact. Building and maintaining large scale statistical models that turn billions of data points into insights and actions. Driving data-driven strategy and decision making for predictive analytics and optimization by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

**Your responsibilities**:

- Driving analysis of historical pricing, business and market data to identify trends, patterns and root causes of changes in key metrics, e.g. order intake and related profitability, market share, hit rates, etc
- Developing and managing dashboards and reports and integrating the dashboards with customized views and analytics according to given priorities
- Creating and maintaining relevant reports, including assurance of data quality, access management, collecting requirements for new reports and agreeing priorities for development and supporting business and pricing leadership with ad-hoc deep dive analysis as required
- Working cross-function with front end units, process owners, information system support, etc. to continuously improve data quality
- Conceptualizing and implementing tools and methods to support all business analytics and related reporting
- Performing explorative research to identify new methods, tools and data sources

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance or related quantitative field
- Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in a Data Science, Business Intelligence or Analytics role with a proven track record of creating tangible impact
- Experience interrogating data and deriving meaningful information through analysis and data visualization
- Deep expertise with visualization tools (required Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps) maintaining alignment with best practices
- Additionally solid knowledge of advanced analytics software such as Python/R/SQL required
- Comfortable working with large data sets from multiple sources
- Ability to deal with complex, global context of a large multinationals, passionate about analyzing complex data to derive valuable insights
- Ability to create high quality and user-friendly reports to clearly present findings in a meaningful way
